Good journalism is based on facts, data and storytelling. Democracy Fighters take a comprehensive data set for ninety-two journalists that have been killed in Mexico since 2000 and creates the opportunity for their work to live on.
Working closely with the journalists behind the project, a new way to design a digital archive was conceived - bringing together academic research with humanity. Through an interactive web-based digital solution, users could explore the connections between journalists, their works and the political powers often behind their untimely deaths.
